Israeli President Herzog: Hadassah in Limassol a “bridge between Jerusalem and Cyprus”

The significance of the Hadassah Medical Center Limassol, both in the field of healthcare and in further strengthening relations between Cyprus and Israel, is highlighted by the President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, in a message marking the official inauguration of the Medical Center, scheduled for October 15.

The Israeli President describes the establishment of Hadassah in Limassol as much more than the opening of a new medical institution, noting that it represents “a bridge between Jerusalem and Cyprus, between our peoples.”

Herzog also places particular emphasis on bilateral relations, which he describes as “exceptionally close and ever-growing,” while also referring to his friendship with President of the Republic Nikos Christodoulides. He notes that cooperation between the two countries in the fields of medicine, innovation, energy and security can strengthen not only Cyprus and Israel, but the wider region as well.

Concluding his message, Isaac Herzog expresses the hope that Hadassah Medical Center Limassol will become a center of medical excellence and an enduring symbol of friendship between Israel and Cyprus.
